Your Ultimate Day of Sun, Sips, and Sights!

Welcome to Laguna Beach! Whether you’re here for a day, a weekend, or a week, this coastal gem is packed with things to do and delicious spots to grab a bite. As you unwind at Spa Del Rio, we want to share some of our favorite local recommendations to make your visit even more memorable.

Beach Time!

You can’t visit Laguna Beach without spending time by the water! Main Beach is the perfect spot to lay out your towel and soak up the sun. Just a short two-block walk from Spa Del Rio, it’s super convenient. As you relax, you can watch local volleyball players showing off their skills on the courts or take a dip in ocean. Main Beach is ideal for people-watching, catching some rays, or just taking in the iconic Laguna coastline.

Where to Eat in Laguna Beach

Breakfast
Start your day right with a delicious breakfast just steps away from Spa Del Rio. For a healthy delicious vegan start, head over to
Zinc Cafe where you’ll find fresh and vibrant dishes . If you’re in the mood for something heartier, Anastasia Cafe offers amazing omelets and waffles that are sure to satisfy. And if you’re craving a perfectly brewed latte and a tasty pastry, stop by Rye Goods, conveniently located just downstairs from Spa Del Rio. It’s the perfect spot for a quick and satisfying bite.

Brunch/Lunch
Looking for brunch or lunch with a view?
The Deck, Driftwood Kitchen, and The Cliff are all excellent choices where you can enjoy a meal while gazing out at the stunning coastline. Whether you’re savoring fresh seafood, a crisp salad, or a juicy burger, the ocean views make every bite that much better.

Dinner
When it’s time for dinner, you don’t have to go far—
The Lumberyard Restaurant is right in the same Lumberyard Plaza as Spa Del Rio, making it a super convenient choice. It’s one of our personal favorites for its great food, drinks, and welcoming atmosphere. If you’re up for a short walk, 230 Forest is another fantastic option, just about a five-minute stroll from the spa. And for those who love live music, Mozambique and The Drake are top spots to enjoy a meal with some great tunes.

Cocktails
Looking to unwind with a drink in hand? You must check out
The Rooftop Lounge at Casa Del Camino Hotel, where you can sip a glass of wine while taking in one of the best ocean views in town. Las Brisas is another must-visit for a margarita paired with more stunning coastal scenery. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more lively, Finney’s Crafthouse offers refreshing cocktails in a vibrant atmosphere that’s perfect for capping off your day in Laguna Beach.

Afternoon Adventures

For a unique experience, check out Thousand Steps Beach. This hidden gem offers tide pools to explore and a bit more seclusion. If hiking is more your thing, Top of the World provides panoramic views of the coastline that are worth every step.

Discover Laguna Beach’s Art Scene

Laguna Beach is a haven for art lovers, boasting a vibrant gallery scene with works from both local and international artists. From contemporary pieces to traditional art, there’s something for everyone. If you’re visiting between November 22, 2024, and December 22, 2024, be sure to check out the Sawdust Festival’s Winter Fantasy.
